A wild buffalo grazing alone along the dry river bed was attacked by a large herd of lions. They bit its hind legs and jumped up on its back, grabbing at its spine. Finally, the wild buffalo exhausted its strength and was pinned down to the ground by a herd of lions to eat.
The video records a group of lions hunting in Kruger National Park, South Africa. The fight began when the lone male buffalo grazed along the dry river bed. 200 meters away is a group of 8 lions resting. The strong wind makes the buffalo almost unable to hear any sound and unable to smell the lion’s scent.
A female lion spotted a wild buffalo and successfully sneaked up just a few meters away from its prey. Then, the buffalo realized something was unusual, it turned around and saw the lioness. Instinctively, it rushed to chase away the enemy, but unfortunately for the wild buffalo because a herd of lions had gathered around it.
However, the buffalo does not easily “give up and be tied down”, it uses its horns to stab each animal one by one.
However, the lion herd still overwhelms the wild buffalo in number. They slow down their prey’s attack by biting its hind legs and jumping up on its back, grabbing at the spine. Finally, the wild buffalo exhausted its strength and was pinned down to the ground by a herd of lions to eat.
The lions began tearing apart the buffalo while it was still alive. The entire hunt lasted just over an hour.
